“The purpose of education is to make good human beings with skill and expertise. Enlightened human beings can be created by teachers”. – A.P.J. Abdul Kalam
My heart felt appreciation to the parents who have chosen Sumitra Group of Schools for framing the future of their children in the days to come.
It is not how much you know, how you present it that matters. Hard work clubbed with attitude to think differently and hunger to dream BIG makes a person excel in life. Hard work pays off well if the person is consistent and does it wholeheartedly. The function of education is to teach them to think intensively and critically. In this changing paraphernalia of education system, we need to support students to actually own their learning. We should be a learning partner, not a provider.
Classroom time should be dedicated to self-discovery. At all ages, students must have a sense of Who they are, How they learn, What they want to learn and Why they want to learn. Students should be taught the success of failure. They must learn the art of accepting challenges and to have the courage to accept the reality. Teaching and learning should be self-driven applications. Students should be encouraged for self-learning. Give them an Apple and let them taste to identify the taste, colour and shape.
