Institutions under Sumitra Group of Schools viz. Sumitra Montessori School (Arya Nagar), Sumitra Girls Inter College (Vijay Laxmi Nagar), Sumitra Modern Academy (Vijay Laxmi Nagar) and Sumitra Public Inter College (Sukhu Mal Road, Near Police Lines) and finally Sumitra Modern School (Lakhimpur road), imparting quality education to students of Sitapur township, Sitapur district and other adjoining areas form a chain of institutions, under Sumitra Group of Schools.
These institutions, efficiently managed by Sumitra School society and Sumitra Committee of management, have contributed through years, in the domain of education creation of awareness of the importance of education in Dist. Sitapur. These institutions are staffed by the qualified and painstaking efficient teachers. Playgrounds to promote sports’ facilities, library equipped with a number of books, including reference books, meant for students and members of teaching staff, present a good spectacle towards growth of institutions.
During the recess, the canteen facility is also available to the inmates of the school.

The Government of Uttar Pradesh bestowed on our girl students laptops for their meritorious performance in Board Exam both CBSE and UP Board.
It is also greatly exhilarating for the inmates of the institution that five students of Sumitra Modern School affiliated to CBSE were issued letter of appreciation for their commendable performance by CBSE.
